Adrienne Gear is back! Come to this full day session to be inspired and motivated to start the school year with lots of new Reading Power ideas, lessons and book titles.
This session is intended to “go deeper” into some of the Reading Power strategies with both Fiction and Nonfiction Texts. Adrienne will share some of her new learning around the Reading Power strategies and will focus in depth on Inferring, Transform and Determining Importance. To end the day, we will spend time looking at Making Connections Count and ways of integrating Reading Power strategies into Literature Circles.
Teachers already familiar with Reading Power will be able to move forward in their learning and those who are new will be well on their way to integrating Reading Power into their classroom!
School House Teaching Supplies & Children’s Bookstore is sponsoring this session and will be on site selling many of Adrienne’s recommended book titles.
Hope to see you there!
Limited space, so register early to ensure availability.
If notice is given within 7 days of the workshop, you may substitute another participant.
