| Mike Buchanan |
| Mike came to Victoria in 1994 as Operations Manager for "AT&T Global Information Solutions".
Previously he worked in different capacities in London UK and Toronto. Shortly thereafter he retired
and married Wendy who was owner of Teachers Corner, a well respected and thriving teachers store on Douglas Street.
It was soon after the wedding that Wendy followed Mikes lead and decided to retire and sell the store.
After four years of travel and the unfortunate demise of Teachers Corner it was considered time to go back
and start again with a new Store. School House Teaching Supplies opened its doors on Douglas Street
in June of 2001.

Wendy has a strong background in retail. She was a Store Manager for Crabtree and Evelyn
and owner of Teachers Corner so she has twenty years of retail experience to bring to this new endevour.
Wendy has always believed that the main ingredient in a successful business is Customer Service, an ethic shared
also by Mike, Susan and Marilyn. We all hope that you shop at School House, enjoy the experience and become
regular's. We welcome your comments, critiques or ideas for improvements.You just have to call,
phone, drop-in, or e-mail. Any one of us will be happy to hear from you.

 | Susan Marcotte
|
Susan came to Victoria from Toronto and was educated at Oak Bay High and the University of Victoria where
she received a Degree in Psychology and a Teaching Certificate. She taught Special Ed. in Vernon BC.
and gained a wealth of knowledge through her 12 years work in the Educational Supply business.
Susan helps keep our website catalog shipshape.

 | Marilyn Wigmore
|
Marilyn is a Victoria native with 14 years experience in the Educational Supply business.
She's a certified Elementary School teacher who spent 7 years teaching full time. To keep up with current curricula she still
works as a teacher on call in the Victoria and Saanich school districts. She also tutors, and helps all grade levels in the area of ESL.
